The 200x200 Pixel Digital Rule

For the Saudi Arabian electronic visa portal, the digital constraints are quite specific. The image is often required to be a perfect square, typically uploaded at dimensions between 200x200 pixels and 600x600 pixels. The file size must be small, usually under 100 KB.

Background Color Mandates

A pure, stark white background is universally required for all Saudi visas (Tourist, Business, Hajj, and Umrah). Any off-white, cream, or grey backgrounds will likely cause application delays.

Attire and Cultural Norms

Women are not required to wear a hijab for the tourist e-visa photo unless they choose to do so for religious reasons. If a hijab is worn, it must not cover the eyebrows, cheekbones, or chin. Men must not wear military uniforms, and sunglasses or tinted prescription glasses are strictly forbidden.
