The Mexican passport and visa photo size is slightly unusual, often requiring a physical print measuring 4.5 x 3.5 cm (essentially the European 35x45mm inverted or identical). The Absolute Glasses Ban

Under no circumstances are glasses allowed in Mexican official photos. Even if you have a severe visual impairment, you must remove your prescription glasses for the split second the photo is taken.

Hair and Forehead Rules

Mexican authorities are notoriously strict about the forehead. Your forehead must be completely exposed. If you have bangs (fringe), you must pin them back entirely. Both ears must also be clearly visible.
