The 38x48mm QID Standard

For physical applications for the Qatar ID (QID), the photograph size must be 38x48mm (3.8 x 4.8 cm). The face must be centered and capture the top of the shoulders.

The Blue Background for QID

Unlike tourist visas which accept white, the physical photograph submitted for the Qatar ID card generally requires a blue background. It is highly recommended to confirm with your sponsoring employer before printing.

Digital Uploads (Hayya Portal)

When uploading digitally to the Hayya portal for tourist entry, a stark white background is required. The digital file must be extremely clear, and glasses of any kind are heavily discouraged to prevent automated rejection.
